Design Service

Note: This service is only available if we have available time slots. During times of peak demand (like now), we are too busy processing orders and getting jobs out the door and as such we do not have the time available, sorry. What you can do is to simply do a Google search for kitchen designers in your area. Once you have the design with them, you can do your cabinetry take-off from there and enter your cabinetry requirements directly into the website to get your quote.

This is an up-front cost of $150 and the service includes:-

1x Design (the design will include dimensional floorplan, elevations and perspective views).
1x Quote  (which you will be able to amend or add to).

You will need to supply us with the following;-

• Dimensions of your room (see here on how to 'measure up a room')
• The size of all your appliances (Oven, Cooktop, Refrigerator, Freezer, Sink, Dishwasher, Microwave, Hood)
• Your Design Brief - your 'must have' and 'wish list' (see here for 'design hints & tips' & 'Kitchen trends' & 'Kitchen design')
• Your preferred depot pickup (see here for 'depot pickup location')

Kitchen Finishes:-

• Bench Top: Type & Thickness
• Doors & Drawers: Type and Colour; Face & Edge Profile (please specify melamine, vinyl or 2-pack polyurethane painted)
• End Panels: Type and Colour OR to match your doors
• Kickboards: Type and Colour OR to match your doors
• Bulkheads: Type and Colour OR to match your doors OR no bulkheads and leave open above your upper cupboards

Examples of inclusions to consider:-
Q. Would you like our quote to include a 34mm laminated post-formed top OR are you organising your own bench top?
Q. Do you want standard openings for any of your appliances (e.g Dishwasher, Microwave)?
Q. Do you want a breakfast bar overhang?
Q. Do you have any gas appliances?
Q. What would you like the kitchen heights to be?

Note: The more accurate the measurements and information that you supply, the more accurate and detailed our design will be. So if you have an idea of how you think your kitchen should look, feel free to supply a rough sketch, otherwise it will be left up to the discretion of the designer.
