Front Edge Profile Range

What the Front Edge refers to

Front Edge Finish

Refers to 'What is happening on the front edges (s) of the bench top/s?' Are these edges seen or not? (refer to the illustrations).

There are several different front edge profiles to select from and these are as follows:

D-Round
A D-Round edge is an edge with a 10 mm radius on both the top and bottom of the benchtop and the middle section of the benchtop is flat.

Bullnose Edge
A Bullnose edge is an edge with a full 180 degree radius (roll).

Tightform Edge (Also known as a Squareform Edge)
A Tightform edge is an edge with a very tight 5/6 mm radius on both the top and bottom of the benchtop and the middle section of the benchtop is flat.

Note 1: This benchtop is a thicker bench top at 38mm thick.

Note 2: To achieve this very tight radius, the laminate is actually thinner than normal laminate.

Note 3: Tightform bench tops have a limited colour range to choose from.

Square Laminated Edge
A Square Laminate Edge is a totally square edge.

Note: In some cases, depending on the laminate brand, there is a noticeable black line around the edge where the two laminate surfaces join. If you want to minimise this look, then avoid selecting a lighter-coloured laminate and pick a darker-coloured laminate
